The Vision

The Box Factory is an adaptive re-use of an antiquated warehouse. Acumen Enterprises, the project sponsors have specifically designed The Box Factory to meet the industrial space needs of artists, artisans and small businesses.

The true intent is far more ambitious; is an attempt to create a physical environment, which will foster creativity and artistic expression, and to establish a diverse and dynamic community. Acumen calls this vision an "Urban Arts Alliance", the transformation of the Box Factory into a "Tool Box" of resources, ideas, inspiration and support for both the occupants and the broader arts community. This goal has been paramount in every step of the process.
